No the weather was not perfect. Overcast skies, with intermittent rain. But that did not put a damper on this wedding or the photography.
Posed under the awning of the porch at the Irem Temple in Dallas, PA, Tom and Jackie admired each other's rings. Noticing the beautiful light in the foreground and background I was able to use a metered fill flash to capture the essence of this magic moment. The overcast skies actually helped to create superb exposure to make the skin tones and the background landscape scenery lucious. This scene is a subtle expample of photojournalism.
